The SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan named Bruno Busacca dean on Nov. 28. Busacca, who led the marketing department, the custom executive education division, and the masters division at the school at different points in his career, replaces Alberto Grando, who had been dean for six years.
Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business kicked off the Supply Chain Alliance, a forum that has companies such as Bosch, FedEx, and Whirlpool interacting with faculty and students interested in supply chain management careers. The goal of the group is to better prepare students for the industry and give these kinds of jobs more visibility, according to the Nov. 28 announcement.
London Business School on Nov. 26 announced the launch of Making Innovation Happen, a program designed to help senior executives create and sustain a culture of innovation to drive growth at their companies. The five-day program will run for the first time beginning Feb. 11 and will cost £6,300 ($10,111).
UCLA Anderson School of Management unveiled the digital version of, the school’s print magazine, on Dec. 3. The first digital issue focuses on reinvention and includes a recipe for reinvention from food personality Evan Kleiman and the article “Not Your Parents’ MBA: Lessons From the Digital Age.”
